Since 1992, one of the activities of the Lavra Mambré Orthodox Monastery, locatedon a mountain that surrounds Lake Amatitlán in Guatemala, is the investigation and utilization of macromycetes fungi.

The field of study is wide: edible, toxic, wood-destroying, medicinal fungi, crops and use of mycorrhizae. You are invited to visit us and share with us the wonderful world of mushrooms.
